Third trimester visit

imageIn the third trimester, we will continue to monitor the baby's growth, as well as assess other parameters of fetal well-being, such as the amount of amniotic fluid and fetal movements.

If your blood type is Rh negative, you will have to get anti-D gamma globulin administered for the prevention of hemolytic disease of the newborn. We will also recommend you the whooping cough vaccine (Tdap) between weeks 28 and 32.

We will assess your third trimester blood test to rule out any possible alterations that are frequent at this time of pregnancy, such as anemia, adjusting the treatment based on the results.
